Child safeguarding resources

As part of a workshop in May 2024 in collaboration with Merseyside Police, we were tasked by Cheshire and Merseyside NHS to develop a consistent approach to child safeguarding around dogs across the region. When finalised this policy will be made available on this page.

Dogs Trust have provided two resources to be used by organisations supporting presentation of dog bites to children, that can be downloaded here for wide use.
