Dog Bite Risk Triage Tool

Dog Bite Risk Triage Tool (DBR-T) is a brief structured professional judgement tool has been developed to support professionals in identifying and referring safeguarding concerns related to dog bite risk. The DBR-T offers an evidence-based structure to aid trained stakeholders, including health and social care professionals and police officers with safeguarding responsibilities, to identify potential dog bite risks at a community level. Early identification of bite risk creates opportunities for timely intervention, with the overarching aim of preventing dog bite incidents.
