Microchipping your dog
Since April 2016 it has been law for all dogs to be microchipped and the owner’s details kept up to date. Your dog must also wear an ID tag and a collar at all times when outside – this must include the owners name and address, Control of Dogs Order 1992
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1992/901/introduction/made.
This includes older dogs, those who will not leave your side and ones kept on leads at all times. Both Dogs Trust and PDSA can offer microchipping at local community events. Please check our calendar for local events and keep checking this website
